Tweet any part of an article?

A recent New York Times experiment allowed users to tweet specific sentences in a trial article with the link going straight through to the section of the article the tweet was taken from. They had an 11 times higher frequency of article tweeting than the top 500 shared articles the previous month. The hope is there will be more sharing because it is not always the headline that readers find interesting.

Is this the next wave of tweeting?
