I've used
iGoogle for many years now and found it an ok way to keep up-to-date with news. It did the job of bringing various news sources to my online desktop but it was always tough to keep up-to-date with news in a chronological order. A couple of weeks ago I was listening to a podcast where someone mentioned
Google Reader. I knew I'd seen it within the Google App on my iphone but I'd never actually used it but as soon as I did, I knew it would change the way I absorb information going forward.
